Full-Stack & Next.js Development for Web Applications
Hire a Next.js contractor for a production web application — frontend, API, and deployment, built to still be easy to work in a year from now.
A lot of web projects ship fast and then get expensive to touch — no structure, no types where they matter, performance regressions nobody notices until traffic shows up. I build with the second year in mind, not just the launch date: clear data flow, components that don't fight each other, and a Lighthouse budget I actually check.
This covers everything from a marketing site that needs to load fast and rank, to an internal tool with real business logic behind it, to an existing Next.js codebase that needs an engineer who can get productive in it immediately.
Who this is for
- Businesses that need a fast, accessible, SEO-ready website or web app
- Teams with an existing Next.js/React codebase that needs a hands-on contractor
- Founders replacing a page builder or agency template with something they can extend
What you get
Frontend build
React/Next.js components, responsive layout, and interaction states — built accessible by default, not patched afterward.
API layer
REST or GraphQL endpoints structured around how the frontend actually consumes data, not a generic CRUD scaffold.
Performance pass
Image, bundle, and render-path optimization measured against Core Web Vitals, not guessed at.
SEO fundamentals
Metadata, structured data, sitemap, and semantic markup — the technical half of ranking, done right the first time.
Deployment
CI/CD to your hosting of choice, with a build and rollback process your team can run without me.
How the engagement runs
- 01
Discovery call
What the site or app needs to do, for whom, and what 'done' looks like.
- 02
Technical plan
Page/route map, data sources, and a scope you can hold me to.
- 03
Build
Regular deployed previews — you're reviewing real pages, not mockups, from early on.
- 04
QA and performance pass
Cross-browser, accessibility, and Core Web Vitals checked before launch, not discovered after.
- 05
Launch and handover
Deployed, documented, and either handed off or kept running under a retainer.
Engagement options
MVP Sprint
Idea to shipped product, fast
4–8 weeks
Founders who need a real, usable v1 in front of users this quarter.
- Scoping workshop and a written technical plan
- Production build — app, API, database, auth, deployment
- CI/CD and a live deployment you own
- Regular demo checkpoints, async updates in between
Monthly Retainer
An embedded senior engineer, minus the hiring cycle
Rolling, one-month minimum
Teams shipping continuously who need senior capacity without a headcount req.
- A fixed block of engineering hours each month
- Feature delivery, code review, and refactors
- Works inside your existing tools — Slack, board, standups
- Cancel or pause with notice
Architecture Audit
An honest read on what's already built
1–2 weeks
Teams inheriting a codebase, pre-fundraise diligence, or diagnosing 'why is this so slow'.
- Codebase, infrastructure, and cost review
- Written findings ranked by risk and effort
- A prioritized remediation plan
- A walkthrough call to go through the findings
Proof, not promises
MAW Enterprise
Automotive · Vehicle Launch
Supported the soft launch of Nammi, Deepal, and other new vehicle models for a Kathmandu dealership. Rewrote thin product pages with full specs, pricing, and live offers — then built lead-capture workflows with automated responses. Visitors arriving from physical ads found what they needed online, leading to 30+ confirmed test-drive bookings and measurable showroom footfall.

FMCG · Marketing Campaign
Built a campaign registration platform that handled 20,000 sign-ups across a two-week promotional drive. Automated confirmation workflows eliminated manual follow-up, reducing call-centre volume by 15–20%. Schema markup and Open Graph updates made every social share polished and click-worthy, while internal linking drove product discovery beyond the campaign itself.

Frequently asked questions
Do you build the frontend only, or the backend too?
Both. I work full-stack by default — frontend, API, database, and deployment — though a frontend-only or API-only engagement is fine if that's what's missing.
Can you work inside an existing codebase?
Yes. Most of my freelance work has been exactly this — Next.js and React codebases built by someone else that needed a contractor who could get productive fast.
Do you handle SEO?
The technical side, yes — metadata, structured data, sitemaps, Core Web Vitals, semantic HTML. That's engineering work and it's included. Content strategy and link building are not.
What's the typical timeline for a marketing or business site?
Scope-dependent, but a focused site is usually weeks, not months, once the plan is set. You'll get a real timeline after the discovery call.
